Jump Ring Mania

This project was my first attempt at doing all of the wire work myself. The only thing I didn't "make" from wire was the clasp.

The bracelet is made of connected jump rings that I made by wrapping 16 gague wire around metal dowels that Chris and I bought at Lowe's and Chris cut into manageable lengths for me. The wire is coiled around the dowel and then slid off and cut. Each jump ring has a cluster of 4 hand wired bead lengths. I hand cut and wired the beads from 24 gague purple wire. The beads are plum and champagne Swarvoski crystals and each crystal is "bookended" by small silver glass beads. The beads are ones that were left over from the jewelry that my friend K made for my wedding 4.5 years ago, so this set is extra special to me :)

The matching earrings are clusters of 5 hand wired bead lengths; two purple on either side of a champagne bead.
